- 4 cups sticky rice
- 1 teaspoon sesame seed
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 coconut ( to sprinkle over )
- ½ ready-made coconut milk tin
Rinse sticky rice with water and soak it in water overnight. Put the stick rice into the earthen steamer, cover it with a piece of cheesecloth and a lid and steam it for about 30 minutes. Then, pound sesame seed and salt till completely mixed. Mix the half steamed sticky rice with some coconut milk and grated coconut well and steam it for about 15 minutes again. Then, scoop the double steamed sticky rice onto a serving plate. Sprinkle grated coconut and seame seed-salt powder over it serving.
