Coco cultivation biggest threat to Colombia-FARC deal: peace commissioner

Drug trafficking and the cultivation of coca, the base ingredient in cocaine, are the greatest threats to the peace process between Colombia and Marxist FARC rebels. Coca is cultivated on about 188,000 hectares across Colombia. Cocaine production capacity is up to 700 tonnes annually. The government wants to eradicate 100,000 hectares this year.
