Gary Hunt takes third consecutive victory in cliff diving

9 September 2018

Britain's Gary Hunt recorded his third victory on the bounce when the Cliff Diving World series held its penultimate event in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday.

CLIFF DIVER, GARY HUNT said ''Last year they told me I've never won diving off a bridge before, this year they said no one's ever won this competition twice. Managed to do that, they've also said whoever wins this competition has never won the series so got one more job to do.''

Six-time world champion Hunt now moves ahead of American Steven Loube in the World Series rankings. In the women's event, Mexico's Adriana Jimenez claimed victory and the top spot in the overall rankings from Rhiannan Iffland of Australia who finished second in Mostar. British wildcard Jessica Macaulay rounded off the podium in third.
