Heavy ash fall from Philippine volcano shrouds nearby towns

The Philippines' Mount Mayon continued to spew lava and ash yesterday. The eruption caused a significant volcanic ash to rain down on several nearby towns. Many put on masks to avoid breathing in too much of the volcanic dust. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology,  the volcano is still engulfed in an intense active period.
