Hundreds march in Honduras to protest President Hernandez's reelection

7 January 2018

In Honduras, hundreds of protesters marched yesterday in the second city of San Pedro Sula. The demonstration  was staged against the reelection of President Juan Orlando Hernandez. The protesters cited fraud in recent elections that secured another mandate for the incumbent. They called for TV star Salvador Nasralla to be named the winner and be sworn in this month. The demand also includes a boycott of Hernandez's swearing-in ceremony.
