IEDS Discovered: 5 Homemade Mines Found In Maungtaw

The security forces discovered 5 explosive improvised devices in Kyauk-Pan-Du  Village, Maungtaw Township, Rakhine State on Sunday, according to report on the social network page of commander in chief of defense services.

While U Sein Shwe Hlaing , resident of Kyauk-Pan-Du  Village went to his farm to work in the morning on Sunday, he found out a suspected package near his farm and informed to the local station of security forces.

When the security forces cleared the area, they discovered a remote mine made of iron pipe which has 10 inches length and 1.5 inches diameter, 3 IEDs triggered with instantaneous Electrical Detonator made of iron pipe which has 10 inches length and 1.5 inches diameter and a IED triggered with instantaneous Electrical Detonator made of a piston of vehicle engine which has 8 inches length and 5 inches diameter.
