Indian officials repair bridge severely damaged by flooding in Kerala

Indian officials repaired damaged infrastructure in state of Kerala on Sunday. Incessant rains have seen close to 200 people die, many of them killed by landslides. On Sunday, Rapid Action ForceĀ  personal were assisted by locals to block a flooded riverĀ  and they repaired a bridge that had been partially washed away by the flood waters.

The India Meteorological Department forecast heavy rainfall only at one or two places of Kerala on Sunday and withdrew a red alert in several districts. Flood waters too began to recede from several places.
