Israeli Film Show: Films Screened For Orphans And Students

The embassy of Israel organized a film show for the children from youth development centers and students from the University of Arts and Culture on Monday evening. The one day film show at JCGV Cinema of St. John Mall was also aimed to provide entertainment and share knowledge with the children and students during their holidays.

Ambassador, Embassy of Israel, H.E. Daniel Zonshine said “We found that the cinema and film is the effective ways to bring the culture of the country to the art. So we also bring the children film and we also bring the film adult. It will give the different angle and different information for the Israelis reality. We invited the orphanages houses and also students from the culture and art university as the audiences.”

The Abulele film for the children and the Zero Motivation film for the adults were screened.  Youth Development Centres officials said the Abulele film will give the children encouragement.

Supervisor, Thu Kha Yate Myone Youth Development Centre, Myint Zu Thin Oo said “That film is about how the children from Israel try hard to stay strong and overcome the difficulties. I want the orphans at the center to be like them.”

Warden, Dream Train Youth Development Center, Khin Myat Mon said “The children will enjoy the film, I’m sure. It will motivate them to overcome the difficulties – it can also give them strength, I think.”

The film show is part of the framework of the cultural cooperation between Israel and Myanmar.
