Medal Conferring: C-In-C Presented Medals And Certificates To The Winners

The commander in chief of defense services, senior general Min Aung Hlaing delivered a remark of honor at the ceremony to confer gallantry medals and gallantry certificates to officers, other ranks and inheritors held at the Zeyarthiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday, 4th of January which is 70th Anniversary Independence Day.

Also present on the occasion were Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of senior general, deputy commander in chief of defense services, vice senior general Soe Win and wife, union ministers for home affairs, defense, and border affairs and their wives, chief of general staff and wife, commander in chief (Navy) and wife, commander in chief (Air) and wife, senior military officers of the office of commander in chief and their wives, commander of Nay Pyi Taw command, officers, other ranks and inheritors who will receive the awards and certificates, invited guests.

In his remarks, the senior general said that this is a ceremony to confer the gallantry medals and certificates to those who served the duties with their utmost ability without hesitation in losing their life and limbs to defense the country and its people, It's been known to all that Tatmadaw is a major institution in fighting for the independence and it is the Tatmadaw when it comes to stand in front against any kinds of challenges in successive eras for the perpetuation of sovereignty and country's independence. So, the ceremony to confer the gallantry medals and certificates is held on the Independence Day yearly.

Next, the commander in chief of defense services, senior general Min Aung Hlaing presented gallantry medal to 25 winners, gallantry certificate to two winners and Certificates of honour of the commander- in-chief of defence services to 13 winners.

Then, the senior general and members posed for documentary photos with the officers, other ranks and inheritors who received medals and certificate. After the ceremony, the commander in chief and party hosted the medal and certificate winners and attendees with the honorable breakfast.
