Meeting On Rakhine: Meeting Focuses On Peace, Stability & Development Of Rakhine State

The Government representatives for the implementation of peace, stability and development in Rakhine State, Member of parliaments, and civil society organizations from Rakhine region meet for the second time in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

Chairman of the implementation Committee and Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, Dr. Win Myat Aye attended the meeting and delivered a remark.

The meeting focuses on peace, stability and development of the Rakhine State, discusses on the current process and prioritized plans to promote law enforcement, security, development on education, health, infrastructure, connectivity, electricity and investment.

Union Minister, MSWRR, H.E. Dr. Win Myat Aye said “There are many things that we’ve been doing for the peace, stability and development in Rakhine State. To implement it more effectively, we need strong support and participation of the people from the region. That’s why we organize this kind of meeting to learn and discuss on the matters together with the government departments, staffs, members of parliament, Civil Society Organizations that are now dealing closely with the people from Rakhine State.”

The officials from the Ministries of Home affairs, Border affairs, construction, electricity and energy presented the ongoing process on the implementation of peace, stability and development in Rakhine State at the meeting.
