Movie Time: Cinema Goers Crowded At Two New Released Myanmar Top Movies

Two Myanmar movies, “Shwe Kyar” and Mudra Calling” now showing in Yangon’s cinemas attract many audiences.

Both movies gave different taste to the audience, and it is crowded with many audiences since the first day of the show March 16th.

Audience said "We came to see Mudra Calling as we are fans of Actor Zen Kyi. The whole movie is very attractive. I also like the cinematographic works of the film."

Audience said "The life of prostitute has no guarantee. Nobody knows that they will be died of HIV infection or their end of life may not be good. The Director can vividly show this, and Actor Phway Phway also did her best."

“Mudra Calling is a drama and romance film. It has been submitted to many international film festivals and won two awards. It was the debut of Director Christina Kyi who achieved great success for the movie “Deception”.

Actor, Zen Kyi said "We will keep on trying to do our work not less than the films “Deception” and “Mudra Calling”. We target to reach our movies to the international market."

“Shwe Kyar” is a drama movie, portraying about the life of the prostitutes, and to have sympathy on them. It was directed by famous Director Wine.

Director, Wine said "We have a great expectation. It is hard to get 97% audience at 880 capacity cinema. I’m really happy for that. It is an encouragement for my way forwards."

“Shwe Kyar” got more than 6.2 million kyats advanced ticket sales and has recorded as the most advanced box office income of the year.
