Myanmar \ U.S. 1st Consular Coordination Meeting

Myanmar and the U.S. held the 1st consular coordination meeting on Tuesday afternoon in Nay Pyi Taw. Myanmar representatives led by Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs U Myint Thu and the US representatives led by Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Carl Risch attended the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The 2 sides exchanged views on improving bilateral consular relations and assuring the citizens from the two countries of easily conducting consular and visa. There are plans to organize such a meeting like this in the future.
