National Parliament: Industries, Bank Erosion, Plans, Bills Focused

National Parliament held its regular meeting on Monday. Plans to control some industries which use false advertising for their products, to reduce bank erosion along the part of Ayeyawady River in Magwe Region, and to rebuild a post and telecommunications office in Hmawbi Township were enquired.

Also, questions on plans to conserve the Belu Creek by the Union Government, to allow commercial flights operation in Kyaukhtu  Airport, and to run other kinds of businesses on confiscated farmlands were raised.

A report on the Science, Technology and Invention bill was explained. The Parliament sought approval to the Science, Technology and Invention bill amended by the People’s parliament but it decided to submit the case to the Union Parliament.

Today’s parliament also sought approval to the Myanmar History Team bill amended by the People’s Parliament.
