North Korea’s cheer squad arrives in South Korea

7 February 2018

A group of North Koreans arrived in South Korea today to support athletes from the two Koreas at the Winter Olympics. The delegation is made up mostly of a 229-member cheer squad.

In addition to them, there were 26 taekwondo performers, 21 journalists and four North Korean Olympics committee members, Seoul's Unification Ministry said. Their visit marks one of the largest peacetime crossings of the inter-Korean border.
