Myanmar National Symphony Orchestra Concert is going to hold for the enthusiasts in Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw which will organize by Myanma Radio and Television and Japanese musicians.
Myanmar National Symphony Orchestra, which currently consists of more than 60 musicians, was founded in 2001. The concert which have been organizing since 2013, aims to promote bilateral relations between the two countries.
DIRECTOR, MUSIC DEPARTMENT (MRTV), TOE KYAW said “This is the annual event to mark diplomatic relations between Myanmar and Japan. The enthusiasts will see and feel the different kinds of music performances this year. Myanmar and Japanese musicians can exchange views on practicing the musical instruments at this concert. Plans are underway to conduct at least two or three local concerts in a year with the aim of bringing Myanmar classical music back to life.”
Led by Japanese conductor and composer Mr. Yunosuke Yamamoto, Myanmar and Japanese musicians will perform the well-known classic songs of Myanmar, as well as Beethoven, Mosaics, Pop, Jazz, and piano section.
CONDUCTOR, YUNOSUKE YAMAMOTO said “We have concert with Orchestra and varieties of songs with serious classic Beethoven, Pop music including Despacito. Some of them are very serious classic and some of them are very popular songs like “MaHar” and Despacito…”
Audiences from Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon have the chance to see the show on February 6th and 9th at MICC-2 and National Theater respectively.
