People’s Parliament: Connectivity & River System Management

People’s Parliament held its regular meeting Wednesday and raised better connectivity and river system management.
Members of the Parliament raised issues on installation of a new tower in BhanMauk, progress of Pakokku airport construction project, Ayeyawady River management system so as to prevent bank erosion along Minbu area, compensation to the seized farmland due to SinThay-PinLaung railroad project in Takkon area, renovation and restoration of light houses along Myanmar coast connecting with international maritime, and smooth transportation along Chindwin River.
The Parliament also discussed a proposal on the use of mobile payment system between the government departments and the public as well as  business enterprises. The Bill Committee also reported amendment of laws regarding Myanmar Red Cross Society Act and Mining Rules.
