Police Training Course: Training For Using & Storing Modernized firearms

The opening ceremony of the 5th training for skillfully using and systematically storing modernized firearms replicating course for police members took place at Yangon Region Police Force, Monday.

This training intended to serve the duty for the police force in security, peace and stability and strengthen the rule of law under the guidance of Myanmar Police Force.

150 Police Members from Four Districts of Yangon Region Joined this two weeks replicating course.

Police Major, Yangon Region Police Force, Hla Wai said “Myanmar Police Force is equipped with the modernized firearms since the early of 2018. Myanmar Police Fore trained the police members so as to use systematically the firearms at the No.1 Basic Military Practicing Force (Min Gone). 49 police members from Yangon Region attended in this course and this is the replicating course training for polices in Yangon.”

Myanmar Police Force is equipped with the modernized firearms such as BA-63, BA-64, BA 72, BA-94 and MA 13. Skillfully use of and storage of 4 kinds of firearms among them will be trained in this course.

Police Major, Yangon Region Police Force, Hla Wai said “This new firearms are not familiar with police members so we need training to use systematically for them. We opened the trainings in accord with the rule and regulations of Myanmar Police Force. So, we have conducted security training, community policing training, crowd management, and seizure training and so on. Yangon Region Police Force has planned to open more effective trainings for the polices.”

So far, 750 police members from Yangon Region have completed such kinds of skillfully using and systematically storing modernized firearms replicating course.
