Pompeo meets Indonesia President Joko Widodo, discuss North Korea

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Sunday (August 5) at the presidential palace in Jakarta. Pompeo was in Indonesia as part of his five-day Asia trip after his attendance at the ASEAN summit. Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said Pompeo and Widodo spoke about North Korea ahead of its participation at the upcoming Asian Games.

The two Koreas will parade together as a unified delegation at the opening ceremony of the game. Pompeo will head back to Washington after his visit to Indonesia later on Sunday.
