Union ministers started a development trip in Rakhine State on Sunday. Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Ye Aung, Union Minister for Labour, Immigration and Population U Thein Swe, Union Minister for Education Dr. Myo Thein Gyi and Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement arrived at Sittwe on Sunday afternoon. They visited relief camps in Sittwe and Kyauk Pandu Village.
The 5-day development trip involves inspection for regional development processes in Maungtaw, Buthidaung, Yathedaung, Mrauk-U, Minbya, Ann, Kyauk Phyu and Thandwe townships. They will also meet with the locals during the trip.
