The Yangon Region Coordination Body for Rule of Law and Justice organized a talk to raise the public awareness on rule of law and judicial works.
The talk at the Basic Education High School in Kyauktada Township on Sunday focused on explanation of fundamental factors and rights the public have as well as accountability. The talk included a question and answer session. Kyauktada Township Police Force members, lawyers, Members of Parliaments and many other departmental officials answered the questions the public raised.
High Court Lawyer, Aung Soe said “Judicial Pillar is very important for the public safety and security as well as for the interests of them. The Pillar can strengthen the democratic system. Today, we explained what the public should know about the rule of law and justice.”
This is the 1st talk held in township of Yangon Region – 8 more talks are planned to be held in other townships of the region.
