Sagan too hot to handle in Tour Down under

19 January 2018

World champion Peter Sagan claimed the Tour Down Under's Ochre jersey on Friday as the Slovakian won the fourth stage in a sprint finish. Sagan had managed to stay in the pack on the climb and the BORA rider was too quick on the descent into Uraidla. Sagan burst through the pack in the last 200 metres and beat South African Daryl Impey to the finish line. Sagan is now wearing the Ochre jersey for the fifth stage which is a 151 kilometre route from McLaren Vale to Willunga Hill. The final ascent to Australia's most well-known climb could well determine the eventual winner of the race.
