Shanghai film festival concluded with final awards announced

The 21st Shanghai International Film Festival wrapped up Sunday. The winners of the Golden Goblet Awards were announced. More than 3,400 films from 108 countries and regions took part in the film festival. 13 of them competed for the Golden Goblet Awards. Chinese film "Ala Changso" won the Best Screenplay and the Grand Jury Prix. "Out of Paradise", which was jointly made by Switzerland and Mongolia, won Best Feature Film category. The Best Director award was earned by "A Translator" produced by Cuba and Canada. American film "Friday's Child" bagged the Best Photography and actor Tye Sheridan won the Best Actor for the same movie. The Best Actress went to Isabelle Blais for the Canadian movie "Tadoussac". "Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms" won the Best Animation Film. "The Long Season" won the Best Documentary Film.
