Spanish PM says Barcelona attack result of "jihadist terrorism"

Spanish Prime Minister said that the van attack in the Catalan city of Barcelona that killed at least 13 people on Thursday was "jihadist terrorism" which required a global response. He also said he would call on other Spanish political parties to reaffirm the country's anti-terrorism pact. A manhunt was underway.

Police said they killed five attackers in town of Cambrils. Authorities also said the death toll could rise, with more than 100 people injured, some seriously.
