Top gears from Russian, Chinese armed forces appear in joint drill

The joint military drill between Russia and China have seen some of the latest top-level weaponries and equipment from troops of both countries.

The joint operation drill has kicked off on Tuesday at the training range in Russia. Russia's Vostok-2018 strategic drills from Sept 11 to 17 is reported to be Russia's largest drill in four decades. More than 300,000 Russian troops, over 1,000 aircraft, 36,000 tanks and armored vehicles and nearly 80 vessels are participating in the exercises. Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) has joined the drills and sent the largest ever contingent for an overseas military exercise to Russia.
