Trump's border wall visit to test simmering tensions in Tijuana

A visit by U.S. President Donald Trump to a border fence near Mexico is expected to test simmering tensions. The American leader scheduled to inspect border wall prototypes today. The Trump administration has also ordered the building of eight prototypes for an eventual border wall near Mexico. The prototypes can be seen over the current border fence marking the international border between San Diego and Tijuana. Trump has insisted Mexico will pay for the wall but has not provided a plan on how the U.S.'s southern neighbour will pay for construction. Tijuana is a popular destination for immigrants seeking a better life in the United States.
