Two killed, 32 missing as powerful quake hits Japan's Hokkaido

At least two people were killed and 38 were missing after a powerful earthquake paralyzed the island of Hokkaido on Thursday. It  triggered landslides and knocked out power to its 5.3 million residents. A coal-fired power plant supplying half of the island was damaged. The country's industry ministry said it could be at least a week before power resumes throughout the island.
