UK PM May sings along with carols at illumination of Downing St Christmas lights

7 December 2017

British Prime Minister Theresa May took a brief respite from Brexit to switch on the Downing Street Christmas tree lights yesterday. She was accompanied at the official illumination by three schoolgirls. They had won a competition to design the prime minister's Christmas cards. May sang along with the popular traditional Christmas carol 'Silent Night', performed by a children's choir outside Number 10.
