State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi on Tuesday left Nay Pyi Taw for Vietnam.
The State Counsellor will attend the 27th World Economic Forum on ASEAN themed ‘ASEAN 4.0: Entrepreneurship and the Fourth Industrial Revolution’ which kicked off today in Hanoi. The State Counsellor is accompanied by the Union Ministers U Thaung Tun and U Kyaw Tin, Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Sett Aung and many other officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The 3-day forum will conclude on Thursday. Established in 1971, the World Economic Forum (WEF) is a non-profit foundation. The forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society for global, regional and industry agendas. Myanmar hosted the World Economic Forum on East Asia in 2013 June.
