Yangon Region Parliament: Meeting Includes Discussion On SMEs Development, Illegal Stay

The 4th regular meeting of 2nd Yangon Region Parliament held its first day session on Monday.
The Tatmadaw representative Major Ko Ko Latt took an oath as the member of parliament of Yangon Region.
U Aung Naing was proposed to be judge of Yangon Region High court.
Quires on road and bridge, land, tar paving, SMEs development, illegal stay, legal affairs, landscaping and labor rights were raised.
The draft proposal on Yangon Regional project bill for 2017-2018 was submitted to the parliament.
Concerning the SMEs development, 2.8 million US dollars and 14.05 million euros are being spent for the projects arranged by the INGOs – those amounts are not from the government budget.
Relating to the question on illegal stay of foreigners at guest house and boarding houses, the section 19 (h) of 2013 YCDC law will be reenacted not later than April to allow such stay.
