50 years of Vietnam - Singapore diplomatic ties celebrated

A ceremony was held in Hanoi on Tuesday to mark the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam - Singapore diplomatic relationship and the 10th anniversary of their strategic partnership.  Vietnamese Vice President VõThịÁnhXuân affirmed that the two countries’ relations provide a success model in both bilateral and multilateral aspects, as well as in the region and the world.

Singapore is currently leading in ASEAN and second in the world in terms of investment in Vietnam. The establishment of the Green and Digital Economy Partnership between the two nations in February this year is an important milestone.

The Vice President expressed her belief that the Vietnam-Singapore strategic partnership will flourish in the coming time to benefit the two peoples, help build a united, resilient and strong ASEAN Community, and contribute to regional and global peace, cooperation and development.
