AI robot competition

Finals of the 25th China Robot and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Competition opened in the southern island province Hainan on Tuesday, gathering AI and robot fans while showcasing cutting-edge technologies.

Sponsored by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), it is the first competition in China to propose a combination of research and development and application of key technologies in robotics and AI. The competition has been held for 25 consecutive years from 1999.

The competition this year includes various forms of robots such as humanoid, wheeled, multi-legged, and other mainstream AI technologies. It mainly tests competitors' knowledge of robot and AI innovation, design and application, task challenge, and scene application.

This year's finals lasted for two days, and the results are expected to be announced by the end of the month.
