ASEAN Affairs: 18th Heads’ Meeting of ASEAN-PAC concludes

Myanmar delegation led by Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) U Than Swe attended the 18th Heads’ Meeting of the ASEAN Parties Against Corruption (ASEAN-PAC) on November 22 which was founded by anti-corruption agencies in ASEAN region.

At the meeting, the ACC Chairman signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the ASEAN-PAC and Cambodia respectively. He also joined the dinner hosted by the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) of Cambodia.

The meeting continued on November 24 and the attendees made a discussion on enhancing the organizational performance of countries in the ASEAN region and ASEAN-PAC, the ability to promote the cooperation between ASEAN member countries and experiences in preventing and combating corruption.
