Asian Games venues debut

All 56 competition venues for the 19th Asian Games have passed their acceptance inspection, making their debut collectively on Wednesday and Thursday, following the completion of hardware construction.

The 19th Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou City of east China's Zhejiang Province from September 23 to October 8, 2023. The Asian Games will feature a grand total of 40 sports and 61 disciplines, resulting in 483 gold medals being awarded to the top-performing athletes from 45 countries and regional Olympic committees from across Asia.

The stunning butterfly-shaped Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Aquatic Sports Arena, the main site of the Asian Games, incorporates a natatorium and a gymnasium to host swimming, diving and basketball events. The stadium can seat 18,000 people and will host the basketball games.
