Beyonce and the cast of "The Lion King" descended on Los Angeles' Hollywood Boulevard on Tuesday night for the world premiere of the remake of the Disney classic. It boasts a voice cast that includes music star Beyonce and actors Donald Glover, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Seth Rogen and James Earl Jones. Glover, who collaborated on the music with Beyonce, said working with the superstar was a learning experience.

Actor, DONALD GLOVER said  "I just listened to what she (Beyonce) had to teach me. Only very few times do you get to work with somebody as iconic as Beyonce is so I felt like it was a something where I was like okay we are like blending this thing together so let me just listen to what she is doing and like play off of that and make sure like, you know, the story is going well. I'm telling a story with it too. I like how she kind of plays the more mature one in the because I feel like 'Nala' is the more mature character at that point. It was really amazing, I learned so much and she is like obviously one of the best performers ever."

Film Score Composer, HANS ZIMMER said  "Beyonce is just one of the most perfect professionals. She is so into it, I mean, she played us this piece of music which was just flawless, it was flawless from the word go. You know, and then like Donald (Glover) was just like great because he is a musician, as well. He is all of those things. So, we would just sit there and we would start jamming with him and with Pharrell (Williams) and get really carried away."

With stunning scenery of Africa and some talking wildlife, the new movie, made with computer-generated imagery, follows the plot of the Oscar winning 1994 animation about lion cub Simba, who flees his kingdom after his villainous uncle Scar connives to take his father Mufasa's place as king. The film is the latest Disney remake to hit screens this year. It is directed by Jon Favreau, who was behind the 2016 remake of 'The Jungle Book'. 'The Lion King' opens in U.S. cinemas on July 19.
