China, Cambodia jointly arrest gambling, scam suspects

Two police-chartered civilian flights landed at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport in Wuhan, bringing back 135 gambling and scam suspects from Cambodia on Sunday. In recent years, Chinese and Cambodian police have intensified their cooperation to combat prominent crimes such as cross-border gambling and telecom scams.
Over 680 Chinese suspects involved in gambling and fraud crimes, who were arrested by Cambodian police, have been brought back to China. The Ministry of Public Security has instructed public security agencies in Hubei Province to conduct thorough investigations into these incidents.
