City development works: Yangon Region CM inspected City development works

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein together with the Region Ministers oversaw the asphalt concrete repaving works with about 4475 feet long, 72 feet wide and 2 inches over Kabaraye Pagoda Road (8 miles) bridge to Oak Pone Sate. Upon inspection, Chairman of the Yangon City Development Committee Yangon Mayor U Bo Htay reported the progress of construction works, and the Chief Minister instructed the needs for the timely completion in accordance with the specified standards.

And, the Chief Minister and party made inspection to the worksite of erecting the concrete lamp posts over Kabaraye Pagoda Road (8 miles) bridge to Oak Pone Sate and over Swel Taw Road to Naga Cave . Then, the official from Yangon Electricity Corporation reported the work undertaking and ongoing processes. Upon the reports, The Chief Minister coordinated the needs for erection of new lampposts and installation of systematic electric cables.

And, the Chief Minister and party inspected the Swel Taw Mingalar Lake where water leakage occurred in Mayangone Township and the officials from the Engineering Department(Water & Sanitation) of Yangon City Development Committee viewed around the site where repairing tasks have been carried out and gave the necessary instructions on the erection of lampposts around the lake.
