Commemorative Events: Police Force Day, assisting elder persons, and paddy field inspection

In honor of the 59th anniversary of Myanmar Police Force Day, which falls on October 1st, a commemoration ceremony was held in Myitkyina on Sunday.

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, urging police members to be free from bias and to adhere to the code of ethics while providing security measures to society. Head of Kachin State Chief Minister Police Brig Gen KyawTun read out the message of the Chief of Myanmar Police Force, followed by the presentation of honorary certificates and awards to outstanding members.

Similarly, the Chief Minister attended a ceremony to commemorate the International Day of Older Persons and delivered a speech. Cash and in-kind assistance were provided to the elderly.

The Kachin State Government extended assistance to 149 elders aged 85 and above to commemorate the International Day of Older Persons, with 50 of them in attendance. On Saturday, the Chief Minister and officials inspected thriving paddy plantations in Tatkone and Man Khein Grounds. During the inspection, they fed fingerlings breeding in the main irrigation canal of Injankha Creek.
