Cooperation renewable energy development promoted

Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Trần Hồng Hà attended the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact in Paris, France, and other bilateral meetings.

At the Summit, leaders discussed building a new vision for the global financial system, promoting cooperation to support developing countries in high debt, mobilising funding from the private sector, encouraging investment in energy transition infrastructure, and achieving climate, biodiversity, and sustainable development goals.

At another meeting with top leaders, the Deputy Prime Minister said he hoped to strengthen ODA cooperation, effectively implement projects in Vietnam, and promote the Just Energy Transition Partnership Agreement. He said Vietnam also hopes to officially establish the Green Strategic Partnership to elevate the bilateral relationship and get support for the green transition.
