Croatian PM pledges to form government after election win

Croatia's incumbent Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic claimed victory in parliamentary elections for his Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ).
Addressing his supporters in Zagreb, he pledged to continue with his policy agenda which he said has "protected Croatian citizens from crises," during his two four-year terms in office.
Croatia's ruling conservative party won the most seats in a parliamentary election on Wednesday.HDZ won 61 seats in the 151-member assembly, results from more than 80 percent of the polling stations showed.
