Donation ceremony: Baby formula goat milk tins donated to MoSWRR

The ceremony of donating baby formula goat milk tins by ILDONG FOODIS Co, Ltd in Seoul of the Republic of Korea for the children taking care in the residential nurseries opened by the Social Welfare Department under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement and children looking after in the philanthropic homes opened under the supervision of the Social Welfare Department was held in the morning on 20th January via Virtual Mode and the Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khine, permanent secretary, director-generals, deputy director-generals, head officer of Yangon Region Social Welfare Department and responsible persons from the donors ILDONG FOODIS Co, Ltd  and SUN SHINE YANGON Co, Ltd attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the Union Minister said that the ministry is taking care for the children who need the care and also the philanthropic homes opened by the volunteer organizations are looking after the children needed the care. The early childhood is from the infant to the 8 years old and the nutrition is needed the most for their growth.

By feeding such goat milk nutrition donated by the donors, the nutritional requirements for the children will be obtained well. The donated baby formula goat milk tins will be distributed to the residential nurseries of the social welfare department and the philanthropic child nurseries as fast as possible.

As the children taken care are the future human resources of the country, the donors ILDONG FOODIS Co,Ltd, SUN SHINE YANGON Co,Ltd and the officials from the ministry of social welfare, relief and resettlement are heartily thankful on behalf of the children and the ministry.

Next, the Chief Executive Officer of ILDONG FOODIS Co, Ltd Mr. Tae Win Kim also extended words of thanks to the ministry of social welfare, relief and resettlement and the officials from the ministry and donated 8880 of baby formula goat milk tins to the head officer of Yangon Region Social Welfare Department.

The Union Minister presented the certificates of honor and the director-general of social welfare department and officials accepted them on behalf of the donors.
