China's domestic tourism rebounded strongly during this year's Dragon Boat Festival holiday, as more than 100 million domestic trips were made, up by 32.3 percent year on year. The country's tourism revenue during the three-day holiday exceeded about 5.2 billion USD.

In Jiuzhaigou Valley, a UNESCO natural heritage site in southwest China's Sichuan Province, tourists were enchanted by the stunning beauty of nature at the scenic sports such as the Five-Color Pond and Arrow Bamboo Lake.

In northeast China's Jilin Province, the Changbai Mountains Scenic Area is estimated to have welcomed around 56,000 tourists during the holiday.  Meihekou, a county-level city in Jilin, saw the number of visitors increasing by nearly 130 percent compared with the same period last year.

Almost all hotels were fully booked.  Nearly 37,000 tourists visited various scenic spots across Dunhuang City in northwest China's Gansu Province on Thursday, the first day of the Dragon Boat Festival.
