On a restored ship, scientists and environmentalists are retracing the voyage of naturalist Charles Darwin, who arrived at the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador in 1835.

Sarah Darwin, botanist and descendant of Charles Darwin said “I love the idea that we're doing something completely different here. We're engaging with young people. We're bringing them to different places around the world so that they can see what other conservation projects are doing. We're creating an extraordinary, network of young incredible people."

In tribute to Darwin's legacy, the Darwin200 project, which has been ongoing for a decade, aims to train the next generation of conservationist leaders.
