A regularly scheduled ferry left Lesbos on Sunday, carrying some 570 migrants that used to live in the Moira migrant camp on the Greek island. Authorities say the 570 on the ferry are among what they term "vulnerable categories" - families, single women with children and unaccompanied minors. The ferry is due to arrive at the port of Piraeus early on Monday.

From there, the migrants will be moved to a camp near the northern city of Thessaloniki. Authorities say the relocation of the migrants is part of a plan to reduce overcrowding at Moira where about 13,000 people live in a space designed for 3,000, often in squalid conditions.
