Hainan Resumes Visa-free Entry Policy

Starting from Wednesday, China will increase the number of outbound group tour countries by another 40. At the same time, the visa-free entry to Hainan and visa-free cruise to Shanghai are also resuming. Industry insiders believe that this will help the recovery of China's tourism market.

At Wednesday afternoon, Hainan welcomed its first inbound flight after the resumption of the visa-free policy. Hainan Province has implemented the visa-free policy for inbound tourism since May 1, 2018. Tourists from 59 countries have been given visa-free access to Hainan and stay in Hainan Province for 30 days with ordinary passports.
