Honoring outstanding students: SAC Chairman awarded prize of honor to the students

The Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended and awarded the prizes of honor at the ceremony of honoring outstanding students who passed the 2024 matriculation examination with all distinctions held at Myanmar International Convention Center-II, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 22nd July.

First, the SAC Chairman and attendees watched the performance of the students with the song of “Let’s honor to those with flying colors”.In his opening speech, the SAC Chairman pointed out that in building the Union based on the genuine and disciplined democracy and federal system, it’s needed to focus to uplift the comprehensive education sector to turn out the human resources endowed with intellectual and intelligent capacities, talent and ability.

So, one of social objectives “To implement a multi-education system that addresses all segments of society, nurturing intellectual and intelligent capacities among the entire population and producing a significant pool of skilled technicians crucial for the manufacturing sector” has been put in five point road-map and nine objectives and the educational tasks are being implemented with momentum for the equal educational opportunity.

All responsible persons and those who are serving for the “Development country with Education” are acknowledged and appreciated.In the previous years, although the outstanding students were honored only at the levels of regions and states and departments, all students who passed the matriculation examination with all distinctions from across the nation are honored at the national level for the first time this year.

A total of 507 students with flying colors will be honored with 0.5 tical pure gold coin.The State Administration Council sent the students who got the highest marks at their relevant subject-group for the domestic and oversea excursions in 2022. It’s also making arrangements for a total of 30 students who gained the highest marks at their relevant subject-group to send oversea studying tour etc.

Next, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister awarded the prize of honor to 11 students who are with flying colors in Science subjects group and gain highest marks in the whole country individually.

Then, SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister awarded prize of honor to 10 students with flying colors individually.After that, Council Joint-Secretary, Council members, Union Ministers, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, Union level officials, Senior military officials from the office of the Commander In Chief awarded the prize of honor to the outstanding students.

Then, one of students expressed words of thanks on behalf of all students who passed the 2024 matriculation examination with all distinctions.Next, the SAC Chairman and attendees watched the performances of the students with the songs.

After the ceremony, SAC Chairman Prime Minister posed for the documentary photo together with 31 students who gained the highest marks in the whole counry and cordially greeted the attendees.Then, the SAC Chairman and party had lunch of honor together with the outstanding students, it’s learnt.
