ICT Development: Courses For Establishment Of Myanmar ICT Development Institute

Ministry of Science and Technology held a virtual opening ceremony of Microsoft Azure DevOps Expert Course (AZ-400) and Microsoft Azure Security Technologies (AZ-500) Courses on Wednesday.

Union Minister Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, Minister Counsellor from Chinese Embassy Madam Li Xiao Yan and Deputy Director-General for Foreign Affairs and Vice-chair of Mekong-Lancang National Coordination Unit (Myanmar) U Win Zeyar Tun addressed the opening ceremony.

In his address, the Union Minister highlighted advantages of Mekong-Lancang Cooperation and the Courses’ benefits to ICT business by developing Cloud Computing and producing IT technicians and to the country by making economic, social, education and medical research. These Microsoft Azure DevOps Expert Course (AZ-400) and Microsoft Azure Security Technologies (AZ-500) Courses from the 10th to the 25th of February are joined by 14 trainees from Laos, Thailand and China and 39 trainees from the universities under the Ministry of Science and Technology.

These courses are for Myanmar ICT Development Institute which will be established by the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund (2018).
