India’s efforts in empowering the underprivileged children

India is taking significant strides in empowering the underprivileged children of India. In an initiative to empower the economically weaker section students of the North-East and to provide them with equitable access to higher educational and employment opportunities, an MoU was signed for Project Darpan(Dao and Rising Sun Preparatory Academy in North East) and Project Spears(Selection & Preparation for Employment in Army by Rising Sun) by Indian Army, Oil India Limited and Coal India Limited with implementing partner National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation.

Both the projects aims to provide residential cum coaching facilities to underprivileged students to prepare for National Defence Academy and Combined Defence Services exams.
