Inspection of Power Plant: MoEP Union Minister inspected Phyu Chaung Power plant

Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun together with the Deputy Minister U Aye Kyaw and departmental officials inspected Electric Power generating and status of water storage of Phyu Chaung Hydro-Electric Power Plant situated at about 7 miles to the west of Phyu Township of Bago Region in the morning on 30th September.

At the briefing hall of the Power plant, the managing Director of the Electric Power Generation Enterprise clarified the data of the Power plant, yearly Power generation, water inflow into the dam, water storage, status of Power transmission through the national grid and the maintenance of electric Power generators. In responding to the clarification, the Union Minister gave the necessary instructions, cordially greeted the service personnel and provided cash assistance and foodstuffs.

Next, the Union Minister and party inspected the Power transmission through the national grid at the Power control room, Power distribution by balancing the loads of transformers and Power lines at the Switch Yard, water inflow into the dam, water storage, spillway and status of strength of main dam and the responsible officials clarified and the Union Minister gave instructions on the requirements.
