Kishida visits Bodhi tree, tries India street food

Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida who is in India on a two day visit, toured Buddha Jayanti Park, named to commemorate the 2500th birth anniversary of Gautam Buddha.

Modi and Kishida walked in the park and enjoyed Indian street food on a rainy Monday evening in New Delhi. The two nations, along with the United States and Australia, make up the Indo-Pacific alliance known as the Quad.The two leaders said they will closely cooperate in dealing with a wide range of global challenges, including soaring prices of energy and food supplies.
