A major sports stadium constructed for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

A major Wenzhou Olympic sports stadium has been constructed for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 by intelligent and green construction methods, according to a project leader. The newly built Sports Stadium occupies a construction area of about 70,000 square meters, and it is the first 50,000-seat stadium in the city.

Engineers skillfully employed bionics design and explored the potential artistic beauty in shape during the construction of the stadium. The stadium was constructed with more than 8,000 tons of steel.

From the perspective of spectators, the spacing between each seat and the height of seats as well as slope gradients of the stand have also been considered as the crucial elements of visual design to ensure views. The facilities and staff are ready to welcome the upcoming Asian Games.
